Training Directions
Approach the park by car from the Embankment and cross
Chelsea Bridge. Over the bridge and take 1st right into the park
(be careful as it is a 12 mile speed limit) on Carriage drive north.Park
in the carpark opposite the floodlit tennis courts (on your right).
Walk to the left of the courts towards the track and we will aim
to be on the left by the new tennis courts right by the track.

Bank Of England
BOE is situated Off Priory Lane which is the turning after Rosslyn
Park RFC on the Upper Richmond Road. You will find the grounds on
the right hand side after the Priory Club.

Barnes Vets
We all know where this one is surely? Well anyway, over Putney Bridge
from the Ladder and along lower Richmond road. Keep right and (I
think) take the next right in to Barnes!!! Battersea Ironside. From
the Ladder you need to head over Wandsworth Bridge and up Trinity
Road. Hang a right at the Xroads bt petrol station - more will follow!

Civil Service
The Civil Service Ground can be found at Dukes Meadow just off the
A316 towards Richmond. From the Ladder head to Hammersmithroundabout
and head towards the M4. At the Hogarth RAB take the A316 to Richmond\Twickenham.
Dukes Meadow is about the 2nd (guessing) turning on the left (small
sign post at the traffic lights!).

Cobham RFC
A3 towards the M25 (Junction 10) Come off at the last turnoff before
the M25, marked A245 Woking/Leatherhead, just after a large Sainsbury's
adjacent to the A3 on the left hand side. Turn left down the hill
towards Cobham. Straight over Roundabout by Sainsbury's Garage.
At second mini roundabout turn left (A307 Esher) by big bar called
Cobham Exchange. After about 1 mile you pass a hotel called the
Fairmile hotel on the left, the club is on the right directly opposite.
Turn almost immediately right into Fairmile lane, and immediately
right into the ground.

Dorking RFC
M25 Junc 9.Head to Dorking. Once in Dorking take the A25 towards
Reigate. Once on the A25 out of Dorking about 2 miles out there
is a right turn off the road to a village / town called Brockham.
Take this turning. Go down this road with a green on your left (if
you look over the green you should see the rugby pitches) and take
your first left at the end of the green. Go up this road for 300
metres and turn left into Dorking Rugby Club. Park where you like.

Go along the A40, past Hangar Lane junction Take the Perivale turning
after the Tesco/Hoover building (left towards Ealing)This is Argyle
Road. Go across 2 or 3 mini r'abouts then turn right onto Vallis

Esher RFC
FROM M1, M3, M4, M11, M40 ETC, VIA M25 Leave M25 at Wisley Interchange
(Junction 10) onto A3 towards London. After 1 mile turn left to
Walton-on-Thames (A245). After 1/4 mile turn right at traffic lights
into Seven Hills Road (B365). Turn right at small roundabout into
Burwood Road and follow this into Hersham Village, bearing right
into Molesey Road. Keep straight on at large roundabout, under railway
bridge at Hersham Station and the ground is 300 yards on the left.
(Approximate time from M25 - 15 minutes). FROM LONDON Take the A3
out of London and continue down to turn-off to Esher (A244). Follow
this road (Copsem Lane/Claremont Lane) through Esher Village, and
across High Street into Church Street, turn left into Lammas Lane
towards Walton-on-Thames (A244) along dual carriageway. Turn right
at large roundabout into Molesey Road, under the railway bridge
at Hersham Station, and the Ground is 300 yards on the left. FROM
HAMPTON COURT BRIDGE Cross over the bridge from the Palace side
and take the second right, immediately after the pedestrian traffic
lights (Creek Road, then Bridge Road). At Police Station mini roundabout
turn right into the Walton Road: this eventually becomes the Molesey
Road and the ground is to be seen on the right approximately 300
yards before the railway bridge at Hersham Station. BY RAIL Hersham
Station is on the Waterloo - Woking line. On leaving the station,
turn right under the bridge and the Ground is 300 yards on the left.

Kings College School OB
Down the A3 till you get level with the Jack Nicholas driving range
on your right, take a left down the slip road by the Raccal Decca
building, keeping in the righthand lane with the traffic lights.
When through the lights get in the left hand lane, being careful
not to rejoin the A3, but going on the lefthand slip road past the
Supermaket on your left. You will then come to a roundabout. Take
the First exit down Burlington Road. Then Right onto west Barneslane,
immediate right onto Seaforth Ave. Drive to the end at a cross roads,
and straight over onto Arthur Road, the club house should be at
the end.

Kingston.
Kingston rugby ground is off the A3 (get to A3 via Putney High Street
or through Roehampton (turn left before Rosslyn Park on the Upper
Richmond Road)) at the Hogarth Roundabout junction. You have to
drive past it and double back on yourself. More precise instructions

down Rocks Lane there is a bus stop on your right before you get

London Scottish.
You will find London Scottish RFC on the A316 opposite Richmond
town centre. Everyone should know this club but if not head past
Civil Service ground and keep going along the A316 towards Richmond.
Go over the Kew gardens turning (off the RAB in Richmond) and you
will find the club on the right hand side. Cross the oncoming traffic!

It is along the Chiswick High Road (A315) or along the Great west
Road (A4) or up Kew Road and over Kew Bridge on to Chiswick High
road (from the other direction) to the large Surrey Crescent r-a-b
with all these 3 roads. From there you head up the A406 Gunnersbury
Avenue (North Circular) towards Ealing /Acton. At the junction with
Gunnersbury Lane (right) A4000 and Popes lane (left) B4491 you take
the left turn (Popes lane B4491). Next right should be Gunnersbury
Drive and you will see the club house (obvious I believe).

the Hook turn-off (A243 to Chessington etc.) Take the A309 to Esher,
Sandown Park etc. After 1 roundabout and 1 set of traffic lights
this will bring you to the 'Scilly Isles' roundabout. Take the last
exit - to Kingston - we are 200 yards along on the left.

By Train: Waterloo to Thames Ditton. From the 'down' platform exit
ramp, turn right under bridge and then immediately left (beside
the railway embankment) into Speer Road, following the signs to
OPFC. After about 200m turn (2nd) right into St Nicholas Road, which
is a cul desac with Colets Health Club & the OPFC at the far
end.
By Road From London: Take the A3 (Kingston Bypass). Pass through
the 'Tolworth Tower Underpass'. Immediately after the next 'Hook'
Underpass bear left on to the A309 (signposted to Heathrow, Hampton
Court, etc). Over one roundabout and traffic lights to the 'Scilly
Isles' (multiple) roundabout. Take the 2nd exit, turning into Hampton
Court Way (still the A309). At the first roundabout turn right into
Ember Court Road and over speed humps to Thames Ditton Station.
Pass through the brick railway bridge and turn immediately left
into Speer Road. After about 200m turn (2nd) right into St Nicholas
Road, which is a cul desac with Colets Health Club & the OPFC
at the far end. Drive straight through the front (reserved) Car
Park, behind the Clubhouse and park in the back Car Park where there
is plenty of room.

Take the A3 southbound till the Cobham / Byfleet junction, turning
right onto the A245 Byfleet road. Its the junction before the M25,
so if you pass the M25 you have gone too far.After 300 yards at
the Traffic lights turn right onto Seven Hills Road B365.Carry on
till the first roundabout, where you turn right onto Burwood Road.Carry
on for 150 yards and turn right again into Whitley Village through
Metal Gates.Follow signs to the Rugby pitch with is second left,
and follow the track to the clubhouse.

Take the A3 from Putney until the Tolworth Tower Exit, taking the
A240 on the right, the Kingston Road. Carry on the bypass till a
roundabout (2nd I think) taking the first exit the A232 Cheam Road.
Then the Second Exit off the next roundabout (by a big new church)
along Northey Road. Should be signposted on the right 1st turning.

1. From Wandsworth take Garratt Lane (A217)
2. Becomes the Mitcham Road (A217)
3. Go through Tooting
4. road joins with Streatham Road
5. becomes the LONDON Road
6. Where it meets the (A236) Western Avenue at "Holburn Way"
you can go left to cut out the junction (London Road still)
7. turns into Upper Green East and then quickly in to Commonside
West (this is all in MITCHAM)
8. To the large R-a-b and 1st exit left to Croydon (Mitcham GC on
your
right) (A236)
9. Over r-a-b with A23 (Purley Way)
10. Mitcham Road becomes "Roman Way - Old Town"
11. Come to a large R-a-b (following (A236))
12. Straight over and take Lower Coombe street and then a very quick
right to Southbridge Road (A236)
13. Just after the road becomes the (A235) Brighton Road take a
left
14. You come to a r-a-b and go straight over to become Croham Road
15. Past South Croydon Station
16. after the station the 4th or 5th turning left is Croham Manor
Road. The club house is there.
Alternatively, Take the (A23) all the way from London and pick up
the above directions at point 9.

Directions by Rail:
If coming by public transport, go to East Croydon Stn and get a
64 bus
direct to the ground, or Tramlink 3 towards New Addington and get
off at Lloyd Park Stop - ground is four or five minutes walk down
Croham Park Avenue which is immediately opposite the tram stop.

From the M25 and M3 North bound:
As the M3 becomes the A 316 Exit the A316 at the Feltham turnoff
(with thewater pumping station on your right.At the roundabout under
the A316 turnright into Nallhead Road. Continue on this road to
the war memorial. Turn right into Green Lane, which becomes Oak
Avenue. Turn right into South Road at the Royal Oak PH. The ground
is signposted at this junction. The ground is at the end of the
road. There is ample parking and access for coaches, but please
advise of coaches in advance to allow reserved space to be allocated.
From London via the A316:
Take the A316 from London, pass the RFU, and Harlequins on the left,
go straight over the roundabout and exit the second flyover, just
past the Shell garage. Take the first exit left into Nallhead Road,
then proceed as above.
By Rail:
Coming out of Hampton station, turn right over level crossing into
Percy Road. At main junction turn left into Broad Lane, the road
bears right to become Oak Avenue, from which the ground is signposted
behind the Royal oak PH. This walk is not trivial, allow 35 minutes.
There will be no taxi's. It is possible to get a R67 or 290 bus
from Richmond underground and British Rail station, but on Saturdays
and in the evening it could take a while. Alight at the Royal Oak
PH.
